Excitement builds towards the all-star program
created exclusively for the One Young World Munich 2021 Closing Ceremony.

July 15, 2021 – Tokyo, JAPAN: 

One Young World Japan (OYWJ) has begun production of its SDG 5 all-female line-up of talent to represent Tokyo and Japan at the One Young World Munich 2021 Closing Ceremony on July 25th, 2021.

Special Messages

In anticipation of the arrival of One Young World Tokyo 2022 next May, the program and its accompanying documentary is being supported by an array of One Young World Japan partners. 

The One Young World Munich 2021 delegates will be greeted by Tokyo Governor, Ms. Yuriko Koike, as well as One Young World Japan’s 2021 Honorary Delegate, Sumire.

The Finale

The SDG 5 inspired finale performance will be led by drum virtuoso SENRI KAWAGUCHI and will introduce 7 of Japan’s top female musicians from the rooftop of the 52-story skyscraper, Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills.

The one-of-a-kind project is a first for Japan and is being helmed by Lilou Augier and lensed by Asumi Sako. Both are entertainment industry vets who bring a team of experienced female professionals with them to fill out the crew.
