Ai's Next-Gen Leader Support Fund

More good news from our first ever Official Artist, Ai !
In celebration of her involvement with OYWJ, Ai has teamed up with OYWJ to create a special music video for her new single and One Young World 2022 Tokyo Summit official theme song, “Not So Different.” The new OYWJ version of the music video can be found on Ai’s official YouTube channel here.
In addition to AI herself singing, 15 next generation leaders of the world who joined One Young World also appear in the music video. AI’s message in the song “There’s no difference, once you open up your heart, you are just the same human being” resonated strongly with the community.
Their own declarations of “For ONE world, I will…” were made in their local languages as action plans to help the world to become ONE. The song title “Not So Different” and “For ONE world” have similar meanings and purpose. We want the world to become ONE and this music video is our way of getting the word out.
To accompany the release of the new collaboration music video, Ai wants to create a small but effective Next-Gen Leader Fund to support action-based projects in the young leaders community. So, from today to the end of February 2021, if we hit 3,000,000 views of the music video, Ai will donate 3,000,000 yen (~$30,000) to the fund. So, share the “Not So Different – One Young World Japan Version-” music video on your social media together with the hashtags #ViewDonation #NotSoDifferent and join the movement! Let’s raise some money!
Those young leaders interested in submitting their projects for Ai’s consideration will be able to apply from March 1, 2021 (details to be updated here) after the funding campaign is complete and should meet the following requirements:
- 32 years old or under
- Must be engaged in activities centered on SDG 3 or SDG 16 but need not be a OYW Ambassador
