IME LVMH JAPAN
Client Advisor Program

January 13, 2021
Tokyo, Japan

LVMH Japan is launching the “IME LVMH JAPAN Client Advisor Program” to support women’s reemployment and career advancement; training for women who have left their jobs due to marriage, childbirth, childcare, nursing care, etc. (including women whose gender self-identification is female) to gain expertise and practical experience in selling fashion & leather goods, cosmetics, watches, and jewelry. Even non-experienced people in the fashion industry can take part in this program.

The program is being implemented in partnership with the Professional Institute of International Fashion and Tokyo Mode Gakuen. In addition to taking a one-year special curriculum at both schools, practical training in stores will be conducted with LVMH brand or department specialists as mentors. There are no class fees for this special curriculum and a living support allowance is provided during the training period. After the program is over, trainees will receive a certificate and have the opportunity to apply to work as a Client Advisor at one of LVMH Japan’s Maison.

“IME (Institut des Métiers d’Excellence)” is a unique vocational training program established by LVMH in 2014, which aims to develop employment by teaching craftsmanship and sales skills to the younger generation. So far, 28 programs have been implemented in various European countries, and more than 800 people have completed the course.
