On Saturday, May 25, 2024, One Young World Japan (OYWJ) held One Young World Japan Caucus SHIBUYA 2024. The event was held at SHIBUYA QWS and was attended by over 200 people. The annual event was a hybrid of online and face-to-face sessions, featuring talks from key leaders representing business, politics, climate, and societal issues.

One Young World Japan celebrates its largest delegation ever to the OYW 2023 global summit in Belfast, UK
One Young World Japan successfully concludes its 2023 Caucus in Shibuya, Tokyo. The hybrid event was attended by a plethora of Japan’s current and future leaders as well as over 4,700 young professionals across 7 countries. Speakers included such names as Ken Hasebe, Carole Fuchs, Ryuta Ibaragi, Kate Robertson, Joi Ito, Yoko Ishikura, Shota Iizuka, Shiho Watabe, Ken Shibusawa, and a musical performance by Nana Tanimura.
One Young World Japan and Okayama University unite for the G7 in Hiroshima.
On August 4th and 5th, together with several of its strategic partners, One Young World Japan held 3 separate events to showcase and celebrate the growth of its family of next-gen leaders. Both domestic and international topics were on stage during the 2-day event covering several topics inspired by the UN SDGs.
One Young World Japan will host the event called “Student Pitch”, which is for students under the age of 18 in Japan. Thirteen speakers were be selected from SDG-related projects submitted from all over Japan. Each student will give a 4-minute presentation in English about the world they aim to achieve, and their future plans.
Host City Partner, Asahi Group Holdings, will provide a scholarship for young leaders living and studying in Japan.
One Young World Japan is delighted to announce its support for “WE HAVE A DREAM,” a collection of 202 dreams from around the world, as well as high school students living in Japan, leveraging our extensive experience and network with young leaders and their SDG-related projects.
